Stuart is changing rapidly for the worse. Too few are doing something about it and they need help. I can not sit back and do nothing. I am running because people need to act.
I absolutely want nothing to do with politicians or this job. The time required to do this job properly and potential sacrifices are not at all appealing. But, like the farmers and shop keepers of a bygone era who scrambled or trudged forward while risking it all, there comes a time when the will of the people need to be made known.
I plan on applying a common sense approach along with sound financial principles to every decision I make. I am studying the Comprehensive plan and learning the Florida statutes that apply. I will work tirelessly to understand every issue brought before me.
I don’t start something I don’t intend to finish.
All the incumbent voted to increase density. The main reason I’m running is to rescind that policy.
I am in favor of growth that does not harm existing residents or businesses quality of life.
The High Density , Over Development of Stuart is the number on issue on people's minds. Growth is out of control and needs be put back into perspective.
The current administration is responsible for these conditions and now are back peddling due to the backlash from the community. Too little, too late.
I will work diligently to correct this problem.
From the River to the Wetlands and everything in-between, I will defend this paradise we call home. Out of state interest with no knowledge of our ecosystem will no longer dictate to us their wants. We will take back our City!
Housing is a genuine concern of many City residents. Too many big companies are infiltrating Stuart causing higher demand and lower wages. If we focus on local business we can correct this imbalance in the market.
